A new Pennsylvania fieldstone retaining wall in Fairfax, Virginia. The 85′ long older wood walls were rotting and starting to lean so they were replaced with the natural stone walls. The stone was dry stacked with gravel backfill (for good drainage) and topped with heavy cap stones.
